GENERAL FAQ

The Saint Peter's University Peacock Pie Yearbook has been published since 1934. The book is a photographic souvenir of students’ time at Saint Peter's University with full color images of campus events, locations, and the SPU community.

Is this an SPU publication?
Yes! The SPU Peacock Pie is published by the SPU Office of Student Involvement in partnership with Main Campus Publications. SPU provides content while MCP coordinates marketing, printing, ads and delivery.

How can I get a copy?

Seniors
2025-26 Seniors will receive a copy of the yearbook (paid for by student fees) and
need to claim their copy by verifying their mailing address here. Their copy will be mailed to their mailing address in mid-August.

Parents & Family, Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Graduate Students

Copies are available for sale here.

The only way to receive copies of the SPU Yearbook is to order them or claim a Senior copy. We will only print copies for the orders we receive and do not typically have extra copies.

What is a Parent Congratulatory Message?

The SPU Yearbook has reserved a limited number of pages for custom messages from SPU Parents and Families. Message spots can be ordered here. Once a spot is reserved, parents and families have until May 31st to submit their text and photo(s) for their student message. The key is to get a spot while we still have them available and before they sell out.

Congratulatory Messages spaces are for parents and families of any SPU student -- Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students -- Not just a Senior thing.

When will my copy be delivered?

The yearbook is published during the summer of each academic year and shipped to purchasers in mid-August. This allows us to cover the entire academic year, including Commencement. If you ordered a book and haven’t received it, please email Main Campus Publications at manager@maincampuspublications.com.

How can I be included in the book?

All Saint Peter's University students can be included in The SPU Yearbook portrait section (Freshmen-Seniors & Graduate Students). There is no cost to be included in the portrait section. There are two ways to be included:

1. Take your on-campus portrait (For Seniors & Graduate Students only). Yearbook photographers are on campus at least once each semester and students who are graduating this academic year are invited to schedule their free sittings. Learn more about student portrait sessions here.

2. Upload your own photo (For FR, SO, JR, SR & GR) Students can upload their own photo here. The photos do not need to be professional portraits and students can wear casual attire in their photo or professional attire. Seniors are able to select this option if they prefer to use their own photo instead of taking a portrait on campus. (Note: The legality of using a professional headshot or portrait varies under different circumstances so please be sure you have the rights to the photo you are uploading. If you have questions, contact the photographer who took the picture.) Photos will be cropped to a head and shoulders shot. Please make sure the photo is of only one individual and that their face is free of obstructions, excluding any religious garb.

Can I submit other photos for the book?

Yes! The SPU Yearbook includes a Scrapbook Section. Simply upload your selfies, student organization activities pictures and more at spuyearbook.com. Please be selective about the photos you upload:

  • Only upload your own photos.

  • Remember this book will be printed and distributed to hundreds of people.

  • Please submit as many photos during the academic year as you would like. We will try to include as many as we can in the book.

  • Only upload high resolution (between 1-3MB file size) photos. Photos copied from websites or social media usually won’t print well.

Why isn’t my name in the graduation list?

SPU aims to include every possible student in its list of graduates but a few issues may arise to impede this.

  • Some students’ privacy preference settings (FERPA) don’t allow the SPU administration to release the students’ names or information to third parties.

  • Students that are walking at Commencement but have not yet earned all of their credits may not be included on the list.  The University Registrar confirms the official list of graduates that will appear in the yearbook.

  • Delayed grade reporting or late completion of graduation requirements may also result in a student’s name being inadvertently left off the list of graduates that the yearbook receives from Saint Peter's University.

Where’s my picture?

Only portraits taken through Lors Photography will automatically be given to the SPU Yearbook for inclusion in the yearbook. If you took your portraits through any other company you will need to upload it using the SPU Student Photo Upload Form.
